The meeting was called to order by Todd  on February 7, 2006 @ 7:00 pm

 

The meeting had 9  board members present with 9  non board members present.

 

Previous months meeting minutes read and approved.

 

Financial report was read and approved.

 

Senior Legion added no new teams so there is 14 teams and 2 divisions

          So far 40 games including non league

 

Junior Legion no new information.  Fees are due the 14th of next month.  Bear Cubs added to schedules hopefully West Lawn as well.  No schedule as of yet.  Age change but Pa kept it at 15.

Umpire fees will be going up contract is up.

 

City County is wooden bat.  Next meeting is the 21st rule change for jurisdiction. Will possibly get schedules at this meeting.

 

Babe Ruth- Spring Ford, Boyertown & Norchester are adding new teams.  Fees are not finalized

 

13 year prep team- Still looking for coaches

 

Fundraising- renewal letters are going out   $150.00 first year $100.00 for renewal.  The goal is to have the whole field covered but 5 panels.

              Checking with Home Depot for supplies for new office will contact Bud.

Upper Pottsgrove sewer and water Howard didn’t have time so Bud will check it out.

 

Old Business:

clearances- Bill taken off all others still working on them

New Business:

start thinking about uniforms-hats, belts, and socks try to get early this stuff can be done ahead of time so you don’t wait till the last minute.

 

School board meeting went fairly well we have usage of the field for games and one day of practice.  Senior Legion is the only one that can use the field. 

Must turn in all schedules to Todd so he can turn into the school.

 

HNB has agreed to sponsor the Senior Legion team again for 2006 in the amount of $5000.00


 

Fred was very happy with how things went in 2005.

 

Election of Coaches- Senior Legion motion by Rob and 2nd by Howard for Jason to continue. All approved

                                  Sr. BabeRuth motion by Howard and 2nd by Jason for Bill to continue. All approved.

                                  Jr. Legion motion by Jason and 2nd by Howard for Rob to continue.  All approved.

                                  City County motion by Howard and 2nd by Jason for Carl to continue. All approved.

 

Sign ups-went over numbers at this point we have 33 paid for 13-15 and 20 paid for 16-19

 

some are still questionable but we don’t have their information.  Justin Risko is coming back and Ben Gresh is questionable.

 

Senior Legion to host tournament June 30, July1-4, 2006 Jason has three commitments

 

Bud made a motion for Senior Legion to go to a tournament in New Jersey and 2nd by Kim -parents must pay for their own rooms to stay over.  All approved

 

Rob made a motion to try for one year trying out for the teams you want to play for instead of having one big evaluation motion was 2nd by Jason all were in favor
