The meeting was called to order by Todd on September 5, 2006 @ 7:05 pm
The meeting had 7 board members present with 3 non board members present.
Previous months meeting minutes read and approved.
Financial report was read and approved.
Senior Legion nothing going on right now, meeting will be in November or December Senior Babe Ruth- Bill McGonigle is done Junior Legion- Rob needs to collect uniform from Shenk. If he can’t go to the meeting he will make sure it is covered. Will let us know by December if he will be coaching or not. City County- Carl is done. Babe Ruth- Bill Reeder is done but is willing to help out if he can 13 year old prep- John McCloskey will attend the meeting
Fundraising- Jason would like to do an autographed Cole Hamels rookie jersey from simply awesome. We purchase it for $125.00 and sell raffle tickets for $5.00 and sell 100 it was brought up to check with Lee Trythal about getting something donated to raffle suggestions; basket raffle with possible beef and beer signs for pool field getting them ready to mail out program book if done for next year we need everything by the end of March
we need to make by law change for double rostering.
Bill McGonigle loaned us $2000.00 to get us out from under.
New Business; Fall Ball-16-19 Jason is giving it one more chance 9/6/06 will hold a gathering if he has enough he will have a team if not it will be a no go.
13-15 has 11 definites. Rob is checking to see what t-shirts he has from last year if Todd doesn’t hear from him by Thursday he is supposed to get a hold of him.
Rick Schrack agreed to purchase cheap hats for the fall ball team(Atlanta)
Registration is tentatively scheduled for January 27th and February 3rd with snow date the following week. Check with little league to see when they are having theirs.
Meeting Room will send out solicitation letters to get some funds generated.
Rob made a motion to adjourn at 8:13 and was 2nd by Tom all were in favor.
Next meeting will be October 3rd at Ringing Rocks Roller Rink at 7:00pm
