Meeting called to order by John @ 7:10
Seven board members were present and five
non-board members

League Reports
Senior Legion
- Schedule is done, there will be a team
from Pittsburgh playing us this year
- Fees were paid last month
- The Rules Committee will be the topic of
the next meeting
- Rosters are due next month
Senior Babe
- Fees were paid last month
- Schedule is done, there will be around 19
games
- There are two divisions with 7 National
teams and 11 American teams
- Home games will be played on Ringing Rocks
field
Junior Legion
- Fees were paid
- Schedule is done – there is one schedule
conflict to be adjusted with CC & 13 yr old team
- We are hosting the All Star Game on
7/23/07, possibly to be held on the High School field with use
of the Snack Bar also as a possibility
- Schedule will go to John for posting
- Start games after Memorial Day
- Rosters are due 5/22/07
- Rick is trying to get us into a Memorial
Day tournament
City County
- Dues are paid
- There are six teams in the league
- Mid-May – tournament in Fredericksburg
- All Star Day at the Reading stadium will
be on 6/27/07
- The banquet will be on 8/5/07
Babe Ruth
13-Year Old Prep
Fundraising
- Reading Phillies tickets – book of tickets
are $30.00 for six tickets. We will get $11.00 for each book
sold. The Reading Phillies take care of billing everyone. We
will sell them until the end of June.
- Basket Party – 5/11/07 in the High School
cafeteria – it will be free to use on that night. We need
baskets to be donated for the event.
- Tom Hains will meet with each teams’
parents about the Redners cards.
- Texas Roadhouse night – 4/11/07
- Still working on Wawa coupons – need to
pre-purchase
- Signs in outfield – waiting for payment -
$75.00 each.
- PECO check is approved, we are waiting for
the check. They will donate more money if we have a specific
project in mind.
- Houck & Gofus gave us a $1000.00 donation.
We will have them sponsor the team his nephew is on.
New Business
- Father’s Day Tournament – we have five
teams and are waiting on a sixth. It is $400.00 per team to
enter. The umpires will charge about $108.00 per game. We will
make around $1500.00 on the tournament. We already have some
trophies, we will need to change the date from last year.
- John will attend a meeting on 4/11/07 @ 7
pm with Upper Pottsgrove Twsp about getting a fence put in at
the pool field.
- The equipment is in at SVSG, Rick will
pick it up.
- We have another player with hardship fees,
Jason made a motion that he pay what he can, seconded by Rick.
The equipment box at the Middle School field
was pushed down the hill. We need people to help bring it back up to
the field. John will talk to Todd about maybe having the school
district maintenance people help.
Howard has a freezer that was donated to the
league from RDS Services.
Howard is looking into Friendly’s as a possible
fundraiser – we can be on the corner collecting money at the same
time.
We have 88 players at this time – that is three
more than last year.
