Meeting called to order by John @7:11.

There were 6 board members and 4 non-board members present.

Rick accepted last month’s minutes, seconded by Chris.

Bud accepted last month’s Treasurers report, seconded by Rick

League Reports

Senior Legion

      nothing to report

Senior Babe Ruth

      nothing to report

Junior Legion

      Memorial Day Tournament - $400.00 to get in, if PBO pays $200.00, George will pay the other $200.00.

      possibly see t-shirts for Jr. Legion to raise money

Junior Legion Prep

      by the 17^th, they need to know if we are joining the league this year

City County

      Tom Rokosny resigned as coach of the team due to low numbers

Babe Ruth

      still looking for a coach

Old Business

      mower – changed the gas tank to see if this would fix the problem – we should know by next week

Fundraising

      Boston Market – check is being processed

      Banner letters are going out – Howard is getting everything ready

      once things are dry, Howard will coordinate getting the cooler into the shed

      Basket Party – nothing to report

New Business

Try-outs

      Registration fees must be paid in full before try-outs

      try-out dates and times:

v     Saturday, April 5th

Ø      13 year olds           – 10:00 AM

Ø      14 & 15 year olds  - 11:45 AM

Ø      16 thru 19 year olds - 1:30 PM

v     Sunday April 6^th

Ø      13 year olds            – 12:00 PM

Ø      14 & 15 year olds     - 1:45 PM

Ø      16 thru 19 year olds  - 3:30 PM

      raindates – the next weekend – April 12^th & 13^th at the same times

      try-outs will be held at the Pottsgrove HS Varsity field

      Players are to attend both try-outs

      Players must arrive 15 minutes prior to their try-out time

      Fathers Day Tournament – we have use of the snack bar.

      CC/Pal situation – Carl called Todd – he asked Jim R. to coach our CC team and take our kids back with us. Do we really want to do this? It was decided that we need more information to make this decision.

      We need to determine the teams to eliminate this year due to low numbers. We need more information and will make phone calls to players who have not yet signed up to see if anything changes. Chris made a motion to table this discussion until we have more information and Howard seconded.

      Insurance meeting with Reed Dallas – Todd will meet with them.

      Meeting with Lower Pottsgrove for the Sports Cooperative meeting – who can go? Bud can go if it is on a Tuesday, and Howard can go either Tuesday or Thursday.
