Meeting called to order by Todd @8:41

 

There were 8 board members and 2 non-board members present.

 

 Rick accepted last month’s minutes, seconded by Jason.

 John accepted the Treasurers report, seconded by Howard.

 

League Reports

Senior Legion

  • they are doing very well, they are in the play-offs

 

Senior Babe

  • they are in the play-offs

 

Junior Legion

  • the are not going to make the play-offs
  • TR’s father was discussed; he has been a major problem this year. If there are any other instances, call Todd and he will try to talk to him

 

Babe Ruth

  • record is 19 and 5, they lost in the play-offs

 

13 Year-Old Prep

  • only one game left to make up
  • they probably won’t make the play-offs

 

New Business

 

  • the pool field is in desperate need of dirt
  • a new liner is needed for the pool field also – we need to get prices
  • Criminal and child Abuse clearances – a few are waiting for their second one, but they are sent away
  • Insurance – Reed Dallas is the same as other companies in their fees

 

Fundraising

 

  • letters are sent away for the signs
  • the Porta Potty company is going to loan us the Porta Potty’s in exchange for a sign
  • Howard wants to start now working on new people for signs for next year – if they pay now, there will be a discount
    • motion made by John, seconded by Jason, none opposed
  • 501C – Howard’s cousin is finishing out the draft information
  • PECO – once we can apply, PECO will give us money for a project – the Pool field was mentioned as the most pressing need
  • the Basket Party made about $1,106.55
  • the Father’s Day Tournament made approx. $1500 to $1800
