Meeting called to order by Todd @7:09

Bud accepted last month’s minutes, seconded by George.

Bud accepted the Treasurer’s report, seconded by Rick.

League Reports

Sr. Legion

·          From the league meeting – there will be three divisions with four teams in each division. Each team will play the teams in their division twice and other divisions once.

·          Todd called Carl S. to see if they would want to merge with us. He will call Todd back to discuss this matter.

Jr. Legion

·          Nothing until January

Senior Babe

·          Nothing to report

Babe Ruth

·          Nothing to report

13 Year Old Prep

·          Southern Lehigh will join the league

·          They want to make more rules – pitching, mandatory playing time, etc.

·          Next meeting is in January

·          Tournaments can be played at Pottsgrove is they are not Legion – but they will need their own insurance and cannot wear the Legion uniforms.

·          As of now there are 16 teams, this many change the number of games they will play. They will play each team in their division twice and the other division once.

Fundraising

·          Howard is still working on the 501C

·          Banner renewals are $275.00 with a 10% early renewal discount.

·          We may have a Beef and Beer with girl’s softball. Chris is going to the meeting to find out the details.

New Business

·          We still need a secretary and one or two new board members.

·          Howard made a motion for Joe Vecchio to be on the board, seconded by Rick, all approved.

·          Bud made a motion for Bob Wehr to be on the board, seconded by Howard, all approved.

·          Registration – John will still handle.

·          Todd will see about getting the High School as well as the Middle School for registration.

·          The registration dates will be:

Tuesday, February 3^rd (regular board meeting also), Thursday, February 5^th 6:30-8:30

Saturday, February 7^th 9:30-11:30

Tuesday, February 10^th, Thursday, February 12^th 6:30-8:30

·          Registration prices will be: $175.00 for 13-15 year olds and $250.00 for 16-19 year olds with a $25.00 discount if registered by February 12^th.

·          Child Abuse Clearances and Criminal Checks – all coaches need to work on getting them NOW for themselves and their assistants. Todd will check with Little League again to see if we can do the checks with them.

·          Todd is still looking into other insurance for the leagues. Reed Dallas, our current carrier, will not sponsor us for anything.

·          Father’s Day Tournament – Jason will still help to run the tournament. It will be for 16-19 year olds @$425.00 a team. Bally wants to play in the tournament, Todd will see if it is ok.

·          The 13 year olds want a Mother’s Day Tournament. Bob and Todd will discuss. Todd will see if they could use the High School field.

·          Invoices were sent out for unreturned uniforms - $104.00 for each of the three families who have not returned their 2008 season uniforms.

·          George will call about dirt for the Pool Field. Frank has not called Todd back yet.

·          We still need coaches for Senior Babe, Babe Ruth, City County (if we have a team).
